The International School of the Arts, the Languages, and the ACADEME, INC. is non-profit organization borne out of the desire to help breed new kind of citizenship, one that is not just focused to love of country but most importantly, one that understand, appreciates, and respects other cultures in order to create global citizens, able to plan, work, and collaborate with all people regardless of their race, religion, or citizenship around the world.
In a very short period of time, the International School of the Arts, the Languages, and the ACADEME, INC., -which was first known to be MTPSF Center of the Arts, and the ACADEME, INC. in 2004,- has grown from the original pre- elementary program to a complete K-12 program with a special College of Fine Arts and other Technical-Vocational Courses which are carefully selected and planned in order that the ideal for which the organization has been established is achieved. I.S.A.L.A.'s approach to teaching and learning is more on the discovery of things and the application of formulas and concepts rather than traditional paper and pencil, lecture type of instruction.
Being the only International School in Laoag City and the whole Ilocos Region to Northern Cagayan Valley, I.S.A.L.A. has the advantage among all other schools as it is the only School that offers an International Curriculum. I.S.A.L.A. also aims to serve not only the Filipino youth but also youths from all over the world who maybe staying in the country for a certain period of time or are Children of Overseas Filipino Workers(OFW) who brought their children back home in order to complete their education while unburdening themselves of costly childcare abroad.
